Body shape like a pony's. Wide black stripes stretch down to the belly. They are wider n the rump. Some have brownish stripes as well as black.

  • Mountain Zebra (there are 2 kinds of Mountain Zebra)
Stripes are thin and close together on neck and body, but on the rump they become wide with bigger spaces between them.

  • Grevy's Zebra
The largest of the zebras. Long, narrow head with big rounded ears. Lots of narrow stripes on body and legs. Belly is white.
